Welcome to the FAQ section of Avanta Embroidery! Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our embroidery and printing services. From information about our products to details about the ordering and production process, we've tried to address all your concerns.

You are welcome to make an appointment to view most of the textiles in our range in our showrooms and check the quality. Under certain conditions, we can also send you a size chart for your company.
We trade exclusively with commercial customers and not with private customers. In principle, the following applies: It is only possible to return unfinished textiles; the costs for shipping and a handling fee of 30% will not be credited back. Finished textiles cannot be exchanged. Cancellation of an order after a binding order has been placed is only possible for certain reasons.
Embroidery:
For embroidery, you can send us your template/logo in any form, e.g. a good mobile phone picture, bitmap, JPEG, PNG, even a drawing on paper or an old textile. This means that we can process all formats. The only requirement is that all details must be clearly recognisable. However, if you are in possession of vector graphics, e.g. .pdf, .cdr (up to version X6) or .eps, we would prefer these. For new orders, an embroidery file must always be created for each size. This is created in-house by a special embroidery designer. The special thing about this is that each layer, colour, stitch type and sequence is created with a great deal of experience and customised for your project. Your template is created in the programme as a background image and the embroidery file is redrawn by hand piece by piece. This requires years of professional experience and cannot be done by normal advertising agencies. If you are in possession of correct embroidery files ending in .emb, .dst, .tap or .u??, you are welcome to send them to us. We can check whether we can use them for your project. We only accept professionally produced files. The checking of your delivered embroidery file always requires a checking fee of at least € 15.00 net. Contractor is not liable for delivered embroidery files.
Textile printing:
For textile printing, the customer artwork ( the logo ) is required in a vectorised form. The most suitable file formats are .pdf, .cdr ( up to version X6 ) or .eps formats, taking into account the following points:
Overwriting a .png, bitmap or .jpeg in the above-mentioned formats does not automatically convert the file into a vectorised format..
The lettering must be converted to curves / paths.
Overlaps in the graphic should be merged in advance by the customer. Parts or colours that are not printed should be removed or left out.
All prices do not apply to templates / logos with shadows or gradients (raster motifs). These must be confirmed separately by the contractor and require more time and additional costs. If your project is to be implemented in one colour and your template is multi-coloured, we need your template / logo to be created and delivered in one colour.
It is usual that the above points take place before the file reaches us. If the files are not suitable, it can happen that your order remains unprocessed for the reasons mentioned above. The procurement / delivery of the template is the responsibility of the client.
If it is not possible for you to provide us with the file in the correct format, please contact us and we will make you a separate offer for the preparation. Our graphics department will charge pro rata processing costs separately depending on the work involved, at least € 30.00 net / hour plus an additional 1 - 3 working days more processing time. In this case, you will have to commission us additionally. You can save yourself this if you obtain the file from the author in the appropriate form. Simply pass this information on to him.

The set-up fees are charged pro rata and only once per logo size. This means that you will not be charged again for subsequent orders. If you later change the size or have a new logo, this must be charged again.
It is usual that you buy the textiles from us. In some cases, e.g. for your first order, we also make an exception (excluding screen printing orders) if you already have the textiles. However, you should know that we can procure the textiles from almost all known manufacturers and we can make you a comparable offer. Our sales team will be happy to advise you!
The set-up of the machine and the administrative costs currently only allow us to embroider logos / motifs from a minimum order value of € 100.00, only with a standard delivery time of 10 working days and for baseball caps generally from 30 pieces. In the case of commercial orders, the client always receives a proof before series production according to your order. The client can also make changes to this proof. A digital simulation / view or, if necessary, a real embroidery sample (real embroidery sample from plus 20.00 net) can be produced on request. We do not make a sample before the order is placed, as this involves considerable work for us..
Foil printing:
Only possible with a standard delivery time of 10 working days.
Screen printing:
The set-up of the machine and the administrative effort only allows us at the moment from a minimum order amount of € 100.00 per logo / motifs, only with a standard delivery time of 10 working days
Depending on order volume, capacity utilisation or goods procurement. Standard is approx. 1-2 weeks after agreement, receipt of goods or release incl. dispatch. This only applies as long as products and colours are available from our supplier. Offers & campaigns are calculated according to the standard delivery time. Express orders are subject to additional costs, on request. We are not liable for delays caused by parcel services. Please note our payment terms for new customers (order start / dispatch after receipt of payment by the order taker). If required, simply arrange a delivery date.
Our customers can pay by bank transfer, instant bank transfer, direct debit, online by credit card, purchase on account (from the 4th order) or with PayPal (plus 5% PayPal fee). We do not accept cash or card payments. New customers pay the first three orders in advance or at least a reasonable deposit and the rest after completion before delivery. All prices are per piece / textile in €, plus VAT, ex works & prices for textiles up to max. size 2XL.
Our range of services also includes shipping. We pack and ship it safely to you. We work together with several reliable parcel service providers from Germany. They deliver parcels for us at home and abroad. All parcels are always insured and can be tracked using a tracking number. We also offer delivery by city courier for regional customers. Express delivery is only available on request and is subject to additional costs.
Standard shipping costs vary depending on size, number of parcels, destination and weight from at least €9.00 net per parcel. Shipping costs can be cancelled from a certain order amount. Please let us know if you have any special requests.
